Information collected during ergonomics interventions
The following information may be collected as part of our ergonomics services, depending on the type of service received: name, address, email address, anthropometric measurements (body dimensions such as height, manual dominance, knee height in a seated position , elbow, this is not about biometrics), medical information, video recording as part of work situations (always with the informed consent of the participants). This information is collected for the purposes of carrying out the ergonomics mandate, to offer home services, and for billing reasons, if applicable. This information could be transmitted to a third party (i.e. the company that mandates the ergonomist), for file management purposes and the implementation of ergonomic solutions. The company could, where applicable, be located outside the province of Quebec. Any person can refuse the collection of this information, or ask the ergonomics service provider to stop the collection. Refusal to collect this information could make it impossible to complete the ergonomics mandate, depending on the case.
How long is your data kept?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be automatically recognized and approved instead of leaving them in the moderation queue. For users who register on our site (if possible), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except their username). Site managers can also view and modify this information. Regarding the information collected as part of the ergonomics services, this is kept on secure computer devices for a period of 5 years. This information is only accessible to members of personnel authorized by Alliance - Ergonomie Conseil.
What are your rights over your data?
If you have an account or have left comments on this site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we have about you, including that you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of personal data concerning you. You also have the right to file a complaint with the public body regarding the protection of personal information.
